Lindsay Stirling is an American violinist, musician, and songwriter known for her unique style of connecting modern hip hop and classical music. She was born in 1986 in California and grew up there, alongside her parents and two sisters. Her parents made Lindsay start learning to play the violin when she was five years old and in the beginning, she didn’t like this idea at all. However, in her teen ages, she became more interested in learning to play the instrument, as well as taking plenty of dancing classes. In late 2007, Lindsay created her first YouTube channel where she has been posting plenty of dancing or violin playing related videos including her own compositions and her own arrangements. In 2010 Stirling appearing in the auditions for America’s Got Talent and managed to reach the quarter-finals. Shortly after she signed up with a recording company and released her first studio album. His hits like “Crystalize“, “Shatter Me“, “All Of Me“, “Master Of Tides“, and others are popular not only in the US but also in Europe. Lindsay Stirling has released 6 studio albums so far. She has also taken part in many concerts and collaborated with plenty of musicians, tried herself in many styles, and has received a large number of awards.
